Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 – Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station & Transfer to Gangtok

Distance: 120 Kms | Approx. Travel Time: 5 Hours

Meet & greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). Our representative will assist you with the transfer to Gangtok, the beautiful capital city of Sikkim located at an altitude of 5,500 ft.

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. The rest of the evening is free for leisure activities or local market exploration.

Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 2 – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the famous Tsomgo Lake situated at an altitude of 12,400 ft. The lake remains snow-covered for most parts of the year and offers breathtaking Himalayan views.

Continue further to visit the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir located at an altitude of 13,200 ft.

Later, return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Note: In case of landslide or unfavorable weather conditions, alternative sightseeing will be arranged.

DAY 3 – Gangtok to Lachen

Distance: 107 Kms | Approx. Travel Time: 6 Hours

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Lachen in North Sikkim with limited luggage.

Enjoy scenic stops along the route including:

• Naga Waterfall
• Chungthang Confluence of Lachen Chu & Lachung Chu Rivers
• Bhim Nala Waterfall

Upon arrival at Lachen (8,500 ft.), check in to the hotel and relax.

Dinner and overnight stay at Lachen.

DAY 4 – Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake & Transfer to Lachung

Early morning drive towards the majestic Gurudongmar Lake located at an altitude of 17,100 ft via Chopta Valley.

Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and is considered highly sacred by Buddhists and Sikhs alike.

After returning to the hotel for lunch, continue your journey to Lachung (8,700 ft.).

Arrive by evening and check in to the hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.

DAY 5 – Yumthang Valley Excursion & Return to Gangtok

Early morning excursion to Yumthang Valley, popularly known as the “Valley of Flowers,” situated at an altitude of 12,000 ft.

On the way back, visit the natural Hot Spring known for its medicinal properties.

After lunch at the resort, proceed back to Gangtok. En route, if weather permits, enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Kanchenjunga from Singhik View Point.

Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to the hotel and relax.

DAY 6 – Gangtok to Pelling

Distance: 150 Kms | Approx. Travel Time: 5 Hours

After breakfast, proceed to Pelling, one of the most scenic hill stations in West Sikkim situated at an altitude of 6,300 ft.

En route sightseeing includes:

• Temi Tea Garden
• Samdruptse Hill
• Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham), Namchi

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.

Overnight stay at Pelling.

DAY 7 – Pelling Full Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Pelling.

First Half Sightseeing:

Second Half Sightseeing:

• Pemayangtse Monastery
• Rabdentse Ruins

Return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 8 – Pelling to Darjeeling

Distance: 80 Kms | Approx. Travel Time: 4 Hours

After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling via Singla Check Post.

Darjeeling, popularly known as the “Queen of Hills,” is famous for its tea gardens, colonial charm, and stunning Himalayan views.

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Evening free for leisure, shopping, or café visits.
