Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1 – Guwahati to Shillong
Arrival at Guwahati and transfer to Shillong. En route enjoy the scenic beauty of Umiam Lake. Evening free at Police Bazar. Overnight stay at Shillong.
DAY 2 – Shillong to Cherrapunji Excursion
Visit:
- Mawsmai Cave
- Seven Sisters Falls
- Nohkalikai Falls
- Elephant Falls
- Shillong Peak
Return to Shillong.
DAY 3 – Shillong to Kaziranga
Drive to Kaziranga National Park. Evening Jeep Safari and cultural program. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
DAY 4 – Kaziranga Safari
Morning Elephant Safari and later Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
DAY 5 – Kaziranga to Dirang
Drive to Dirang. Visit apple orchards, kiwi farms, Dirang Dzong, and hot water spring.
DAY 6 – Dirang to Tawang
Drive to Tawang via Sela Pass. Visit Tawang Monastery.
DAY 7 – Tawang Sightseeing
Visit:
- Bum La Pass
- Jaswant Garh War Memorial
- Pankang Teng Tso Lake
Overnight stay at Tawang.
DAY 8 – Tawang to Bomdila
Transfer to Bomdila. Evening free for leisure.
DAY 9 – Bomdila Sightseeing
Visit:
- Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery
- Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery
- Bomdila View Point
DAY 10 – Bomdila to Guwahati
Drive back to Guwahati. Evening Brahmaputra River Cruise.
DAY 11 – Guwahati Departure
Visit:
- Kamakhya Temple
- Umananda Temple
Later transfer to airport/railway station for departure.
